Police officers are tough and resilient, so it’s only fitting that Ben Brewer join the Aurora Police Department.
Ben is only 14 years old but has faced and overcome more than most adults.
Ben has fought cancer for 12 of his 14 years of life.
Because of Ben’s toughness, Aurora Police Chief Nick Metz has appointed him an Honorary Police Officer.
“We are proud to have your family a part of us,” Chief Metz said on Wednesday. “Your family will always be with us. We are going to be your backup. We got your back.”
