26 year-old discovers a small lump on her sternum and is told by a specialist that it was nothing. The specialist was wrong.
Within a month the lump became the size of a grapefruit and Kama and her specialist knew something was horribly wrong.
Stage four Osteosarcomatoid Carcinoma – bone cancer – was the diagnosis and, as Kama was told, it was about to take her life.
Because of her resilience, her mother’s encouragement and excellent treatment, Kama proved the prognosis wrong.
